Project Manager

a little bit about me…

I worked first as a Textile Designer before discovering my love of edible plants. Ran a market garden in Kinglake, Victoria. Set up the Edible Garden at Geelong Botanic Gardens.  I had an idea based on research whilst studying at Melbourne Uni and am fortunate to get funding for that idea. I have a dream of making Geelong a city of healthy and happy people.

Lived most of my life in Geelong but have extensively travelled overseas.

I have worked within the Community sector as an Administrator and Volunteer Co-Ordinator at a local Community Centre and am a Volunteer English tutor.

I enjoy travelling, gardening and outside activities. With 2&5 I look forward to the prospect of learning more about planting out my veggie garden and meeting new people passionate about healthy eating.

a little bit about me…

Hi, I have been working in the shop as part of Workskil’s work experiance activity, at first I found the till difficult and now we are right. I know all the names of the fruit and vegetables now. I live 5 minutes away and am also ready to help customers and Food Skil. The staff and customers are easy to get along with, and if I don’t know the answer to a question, I will ask someone else.

a little bit about me…

Last year I finished my degree in a bachelor of health science majoring in health promotion and physical activity. I am currently volunteering at Food Skil helping out Katie with the evaluation process by conducting most significant change stories from customers, staff and volunteers. Since starting at Food Skil I have gained more experience and skills as well as eating a lot fresher fruit and vegetables!
